As an EMEA Forecasting and Field Inventory Analyst based in Diegem, Belgium, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal inventory management and forecasting across the region. Your expertise will help maintain efficiency in supply chain operations, ensuring Abbott continues to deliver exceptional healthcare solutions.
Your Main Responsibilities
1. Analyze and forecast demand trends to optimize inventory levels across the EMEA region.
2. Manage field inventory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and supply chain teams, to align forecasts with strategic objectives.
4. Monitor inventory performance and provide insights to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies.
5. Support planning activities, including inventory replenishment strategies and stock optimization.
6. Identify risks and opportunities related to inventory management and proactively recommend solutions.
7. Work closely with global and regional teams to improve forecasting models and accuracy.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all inventory and forecasting processes.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation in supply chain efficiency.
10. Provide regular reporting and insights to support decision-making at the regional level.
Your Profile
11. Bachelor's or master’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field.
12. Proven experience in forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain analysis within an international environment.
13. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
14. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working across multiple teams and functions.
15. Proficiency in relevant tools and systems for demand forecasting and inventory management.
16. Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.
17. Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
