Description Overview
As Key Account Manager Food Retail, you will be responsible for negotiating and building partnership with Retail customers. You will strive to grow various categories to grow the customer's business, in line with the Perrigo strategy and objectives.
Scope of the Role
1. You are responsible for translating the commercial strategy and marketing plans into a strong commercial plan for various Retail customers such as Colruyt, Delhaize & Carrefour,... You ensure proper implementation and follow-up
2. You prepare the annual negotiations and conduct discussions with the various customers within your customer portfolio
3. As Key Account Manager, you work out a partnership and think along with the customer about his business:
o How can you grow categories?
o What opportunities are there to realise growth?
4. You are responsible for drawing up and managing the customer budget
5. You familiarise yourself thoroughly and quickly with the market and stay up to date with market trends and competitive developments and ensure appropriate response strategies
6. You are part of the Commercial department and work closely with colleagues from various departments including Trade Marketing, Supply...
Experience Required
7. You have a master's degree supplemented with experience in a KAM function
8. First experience with Food Retail customers and/or knowledge of the pharmaceutical/OTC market is not a must have, but a plus
9. You see opportunities and know how to translate them into solutions for your customers
10. You have a win-win mentality and build long-term relationships
11. You like to manage different projects and can work independently
12. You are a team player with focuses on customer
13. You have strong communication and written skills in Dutch, French and English
