Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As the right-hand to the Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:
* Complete Accounting Management: From account reconciliations and invoice processing to financial reporting and performance monitoring.
* Tax and VAT Returns: Preparation and submission of returns, tax monitoring, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Closing and Balance Sheets: Monthly and annual closings, preparation of balance sheets, and analysis of financial data.
* Cost Accounting: Cost tracking, variance analysis, and optimization for improved financial performance.
* Financial Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Preparing clear reports for management, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
* Process Optimization: Improving accounting methods, digitalization, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a seasoned professional with:
* Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 10 years of accounting experience in a similar role, with expertise in accounting from A to Z.
* Tax Skills: Solid expertise in VAT and corporate tax, with a proven track record of compliance and accuracy.
* Languages: Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
* Personal Qualities: Rigor, sense of responsibility, proactivity, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
