responsible for the daily management and oversight of construction
and demolition sites. They provide their expertise in construction
to ensure the proper execution of various projects. They play a
technical expert role during the project study phase and will
oversee the site during project execution. They supervise the sites
and ensure that safety standards are met. Your Responsibilities: -
Assume overall responsibility for monitoring and organizing
construction and demolition activities related to the project. -
Ensure the preparation and updating of a comprehensive construction
and demolition plan that coordinates all construction and
demolition activities of the project. - Provide management
resources, as needed, throughout the construction and demolition
phases to ensure coordination of activities and adherence to agreed
milestones. - Ensure that designers, contractors, and other team
members are competent in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and
duly prequalified. - Ensure that the construction manager
(contractors) executes the project safely, in accordance with local
regulations and company requirements. - Agree on EHS
responsibilities and accountability obligations for the
construction of the project with the site EHS manager. - Encourage
and support an EHS culture that aligns with the company's values. -
Draft the initial Construction Safety Plan (CSP) to inform the
construction manager (contractors). - Ensure that all workers
receive site-specific construction orientation related to the
project. - Ensure that the construction safety plan is regularly
reviewed and updated by the construction manager. - Implement a
performance assurance process for EHS through an audit,
observation, and interaction program. - Ensure that the
construction manager (contractors) implements a proactive EHS
program that encourages recognition. Your Profile: - You hold a
Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering (construction,
EHS, etc.). - You have experience in project management (Capex and
non-Capex) as well as a technical background (construction, HVAC,
facilities, utilities, clean and black piping, EHS, etc.). - You
have experience in managing construction sites in the
pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear, or food industries. - You are
capable of establishing and maintaining a genuine partnership
within teams and across different departments. - You can manage
various stakeholders related to the project. - You have excellent
adaptability skills for different audiences (from workers to senior
executives). - You possess excellent change control coordination
skills. - You are PMP and/or Prince2 certified. - You are fluent in
French and English.
