Job: Senior Software Team LeadLocation: Leuven, BelgiumEmployment Type: Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to lead and drive a cross-functional software development team working. This role is primarily focused on people management, technical leadership, business alignment, and some hands-on coding.
You will act as a key bridge between the development team and the business, ensuring technical solutions align with business priorities, timelines, and quality standards. While hands-on development is minimal, a strong technical background is essential to guide architectural decisions, mentor team members, and challenge solutions where needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environmentProvide technical leadership and oversight for solutions built with C#.NET and Angular, ensuring quality, scalability, and best practices.Act as the primary interface between the development team and business stakeholdersParticipate in business and planning meetings to gather, clarify, and translate business needs into technical objectivesMonitor delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure alignment with priorities and timelinesPromote efficient development processes and continuous improvement across the team
QualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer science or any related studiesStrong professional background in C#.NET and Angular, with the ability to evaluate and guide technical solutionsProven experience in a Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership roleSolid understanding of modern software development practices and architecturesExperience working closely with business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical outcomesStrong communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.Dutch and English speaking.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or CI/CD pipelinesExperience coaching or mentoring developers at different seniority levels
