We are looking for a
Business Controller
to join an international organisation based in the Ghent area. This is a high-impact position where you’ll combine financial analysis, business partnering, and process improvement to support strategic decision-making.

This is not a traditional controlling role. You will:
Take ownership of financial performance and provide actionable insights
Partner closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams
Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability, and decision-making
Balance strategic analysis with hands-on execution
Your responsibilities
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Analyse business performance and translate data into clear insights
Build and maintain forecasts, budgets, and business plans
Support cash flow planning and financial modelling
Collaborate with Shared Service Centres to optimise processes
Lead or contribute to projects around automation, digitalisation, and cost optimisation
Support audit processes and ensure compliance (SOX / local GAAP where applicable)
Your profile
5+ years’ experience in finance (Business Controlling, FP&A, Audit, or Accounting)
Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
Experience in business partnering and stakeholder xphnsxz management
Fluent in Dutch and English
Strong knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP and/or Power BI is a plus
Structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
