Join a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and international team at the forefront of innovation in transportation systems. As a System Engineer, you'll play a key role in analyzing, defining, and developing the architecture and functions of complex railway signalling systems used in modern train networks.
Working closely with other engineering disciplines, you'll participate in the entire system development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to architecture definition, validation, and support for deployment.
Your Responsibilities:
Analyze, clarify, and confirm input needs and requirements (internal or external).
Perform conceptual designs: system modelling, trade-off studies, real-time analysis, design mock-ups.
Define system architecture, allocate requirements, and design system interfaces.
Write and maintain system specifications using formal modeling and design standards (SysML, UML, etc.).
Ensure full traceability of requirements across all documentation and development phases.
Collaborate with RAM, safety, cybersecurity, software, verification & validation teams to ensure specification completeness and system integration.
Lead and participate in technical reviews (design/documentation) and consultations with experts or end users.
Monitor technology trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (RoE, tools, processes).
Promote standardization and system reusability by leveraging existing solutions.
Support program stakeholders including customers, users, and tender teams.
