For one of our client in the Flemish Brabant near Brussels, Walt&Spencer is currently looking for a Business Controller to join a forward-thinking, people-driven organization operating across Belgium. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in steering financial performance, driving strategic decision-making, and acting as a true business partner within a complex, multi-site environment.
Your Key Responsibilities as Business Controller
* Lead the preparation of annual budgets and support strategic financial planning.
* Monitor business performance and identify improvement opportunities through solid analysis of P&L, budgets, and investments.
* Analyze business results, explain variances, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
* Develop and manage KPIs and dashboards to track financial health and progress.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to ensure alignment with group-wide processes.
* Handle monthly reporting and group-level financial communication.
* Report periodically to the executive committee on business performance and strategic progress.
Profiles
* Minimum 6-7 years experience in controlling or audit
* Dutch and French
