The OpportunityWe’re working with a high-growth, specialist business in the clinical trial supply space, a company that has built deep, long-standing relationships with biotech and mid-sized pharma customers across Europe. They’ve grown organically through reputation, referrals, and operational excellence and are now building out their commercial team with a focus on new business development.This is a rare opportunity to join a lean, values-driven business at a pivotal point in its growth. The leadership team is proven, collaborative, and passionate about building something long-term and meaningful. They’re looking for someone who shares that mindset, someone who wants to contribute to the next chapter, not just close the next deal.What Makes This Role DifferentBuild, don’t just manage – You won’t inherit a static client list. This is a chance to shape and grow the BD function in a business that is ready to invest and scale.Real ownership – You’ll be trusted to develop your own approach, identify opportunities, and drive commercial partnerships with support from a senior, experienced team.Strong reputation, no shortcuts – The company has grown through doing things the right way – no cold calling blitzes or aggressive sales tactics. They care about relationships and results.Strategic and hands-on – You’ll work closely with leadership to help shape commercial strategy, while also executing at ground level to win new clients and grow key accounts.Collaborative culture – The business has a genuine team ethos. Everyone works remotely, but no one operates in a silo. You’ll be part of a close-knit group that shares insight and celebrates success together.What They’re Looking ForExperience in business development, commercial partnerships, or strategic sales within clinical trial supplies, comparators, or a related life sciences service.Strong relationship builder with the ability to open doors, nurture opportunities, and close with credibility.A thoughtful, self-directed approach – someone who doesn’t need micromanaging and thrives in a high-trust environment.Prior experience working with biotech, mid-size pharma, or niche CDMOs would be a plus.UK or Europe-based, with the ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or team sessions.Next StepsIf you’re looking for something more impactful, a role where your ideas, relationships, and results will genuinely shape the direction of the business, we’d love to hear from you.
