Our client is an international aviation company that is actively developing one of its main sites, in the Saarbrücken area, right between France, Germany and Luxemburg.
You will lead its logistical and cultural evolution and ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction — as :
You oversee daily operations, coordinating base maintenance, line maintenance and workshop activities, and taking full responsibility for teams, resources and priorities.
You drive cultural transformation, implement change management initiatives and foster a mindset where continuous improvement becomes the norm.
You take ownership of Safety & Compliance, ensure complete incident and occurrence reporting, and work closely with your Compliance Manager.
You design and oversee training and development programmes for all technical functions, ensuring all regulatory training requirements are fully met.
You set, monitor and analyse operational and financial KPIs, providing clear strategic direction to team leaders and technical departments.
You manage cost control, budget planning and investment prioritisation to support site performance.
You build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage third‑party contracts and represent the company with selected stakeholders.
You support the company’s long‑term strategy by improving processes, integrating digital tools and promoting a data‑driven approach.
Why we want you on our team – Your strengths
Your background : Approximately 10 years’ experience in industrial, highly regulated environments (aviation, pharma, food, energy etc.), including team management and proven success in change management, or comparable experience.
Your languages : Fluent German (C1 minimum) for daily leadership of a German‑speaking workforce. Confident English (B2 minimum). French is a plus.
Your IT skills : Strong digital affinity, confident use of standard IT tools and comfort with data‑driven methods. Experience with AMOS is an advantage.
Your style & personality : Communicative, structured, assertive and detail‑oriented. Able to combine a hands‑on approach with strategic thinking and navigate confidently between the shop floor and a corporate setting.
