Functieomschrijving
As Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
* Develop, lead, and implement a business development strategy for public sector infrastructure projects.
* Build and maintain a network of key stakeholders within public authorities.
* Lead and coordinate tender processes, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal operational teams.
* Identify new market opportunities and position the organization as a partner of choice in complex infrastructure projects.
* Guide and manage a team of 6 people (3 sales assistant & 3 sales people) and support staff to maximize performance and motivation.
* Contribute to strategic decision-making in collaboration with operational and commercial leadership.
* Monitor market trends, analyze team performance, and continuously refine commercial approaches.
* Focus on the Belgian market.
Profiel
The successful profile will have the following qualities:
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or tender management within the infrastructure engineering sector.
* A strong and relevant network within the public sector and municipalities in Belgium.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to lead complex tendering and sales processes.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
* Familiar with CRM tools.
* Entrepreneurial, analytical, and driven by results.
