Job Title: Freelance Medior .NET Developer (1-Year Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking a Medior Freelance .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-performance applications using the .NET ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend services, APIs, and enterprise solutions. Your expertise in .NET and related technologies will contribute to the reliability, security, and scalability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain .NET applications using C#, .NET Core, or .NET Framework.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.
* Work with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Entity Framework Core) to optimize data access and performance.
* Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, IdentityServer).
* Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices (SOLID principles, design patterns).
* Implement unit and integration tests using frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure smooth functionality.
* Stay up-to-date with .NET trends, libraries, and tools to recommend innovative solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
* 3–5 years of experience as a .NET Developer, Backend Engineer, or Full Stack Developer.
* Proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
* Experience with ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with ORM tools (Entity Framework Core, Dapper).
* Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
* Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
* Experience with DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) is a plus.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Languages
* Fluent in English (required for collaboration).
* Fluent in French or Dutch (required for client/stakeholder communication).
