Are you a proactive professional who thrives at the heart of a busy office? Our client, a global leader in professional consultancy, is looking for an enthusiastic Facilities Coordinator to manage their Belgian hubs.
In this versatile role, you will be the primary point of contact for employees, visitors, and service providers. You will ensure seamless daily operations, ranging from providing a premium welcome at reception to guaranteeing a safe, sustainable, and high-energy work environment.
Your Mission: Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will be diverse, focusing on maintaining an optimal "office experience":
Hospitality & Admin: Managing the reception, welcoming international guests, handling post/logistics, and ensuring meeting rooms remain pristine.
Facility Management (FM): Conducting site inspections, managing external vendors, and supervising technical maintenance.
Procurement: Taking full ownership of office inventory, from professional supplies to beverage and consumable management.
Safety & Compliance: Serving as a Fire Warden and First Aider (full training provided) to ensure the highest health and safety standards.
Sustainability (ESG): Acting as the local "Green Champion," helping to reduce the ecological footprint by monitoring energy usage and waste reporting.
Communication: Keeping the team engaged and informed via the company intranet and internal presentations.
Your Profile: Qualifications
To succeed in this high-visibility role, you should possess:
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in facilities management, office coordination, or high-level hospitality.
Languages: You are fluent in French and English. Professional knowledge of Dutch is a significant competitive advantage.
Digital Literacy: Proficient in the MS Office suite (specifically Excel and Outlook) and quick to adopt new internal software.
Mindset: You are highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently while remaining a dedicated team player.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S) or an IOSH certificate is a plus, but a proactive attitude toward learning is essential.
