SwiftPharma develops and commercializes a cosmetic-grade product portfolio, including plant-derived recombinant collagens designed for use as high-performance cosmetic raw materials in finished personal care and beauty products. About the roleTo accelerate the commercial rollout of SwiftPharma’s plant-based technologies in the cosmetics industry, we are appointing a Sales Lead – Cosmetic Ingredients. This a revenue-focused sales leadership role involves responsibility for driving and delivering cosmetic ingredient sales across Europe, while supporting selected global markets. The Sales Lead owns the commercial pipeline, sales targets, and customer portfolio, ensuring structured sales execution, account growth, and long-term revenue generation within the cosmetics value chain. Key responsibilities 1. Revenue Ownership & Sales Execution· Own and deliver annual and quarterly sales targets, and develop structured sales plans across European markets.· Manage the full B2B sales cycle — lead generation, technical positioning, commercial proposals, pricing, negotiation and contract closure.· Maintain an actively managed CRM pipeline, provide accurate forecasting to leadership, and convert prospects into long-term, repeat customers. 2. Strategic Account Management· Manage and grow key accounts (cosmetic brands, manufacturers, formulators), driving repeat business, volume expansion and up-/cross-selling.· Act as the primary commercial contact and build long-term account strategies, coordinating internally with R&D, regulatory and production teams to ensure delivery excellence. 3. Channel & Market Development· Identify, appoint and manage distributors where relevant — setting revenue targets, monitoring performance and supporting them with technical and commercial tools.· Identify new customer segments and geographic growth opportunities, and represent SwiftPharma at major industry trade fairs (In-Cosmetics, Supplier Days, etc.).· Gather market intelligence to sharpen positioning and pricing, and feed customer insights into portfolio and innovation discussions. Profile requirements · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. We look for a scientific degree complemented with commercial experience in cosmetic ingredient sales · Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales of cosmetic raw materials or ingredients and a demonstrated track record of successfully selling ingredients used in finished cosmetic products.· Relevant network within cosmetic brands, ingredient buyers, formulators, and distributors.· Proven sales closing skills.· Experience with biotech-derived or active ingredients is a strong advantage.· Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a scale-up environment.· Comfortable combining technical sales discussions with commercial negotiation.· Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French are a big plus, additional European languages are a plus).· Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally.
