Looking for a challenging role as a Financial Project Controller in Research Services? Join a dynamic international team in the south of Brussels, managing budgets, reporting, and high-impact research projects.
Your responsibilities as a Financial Project Controller :
* Support project managers in budget preparation and monitoring
* Collaborate with Accounting on revenue, WIP, invoices, and income
* Prepare financial reports, invoices, and forecasts
* Analyze and report project delays
* Manage and adapt reporting tools for new ERP system
* Assist in ERP implementation and fine-tuning
* Ensure contract compliance and handles external audits
About you :
* You hold a Master's in Commercial Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience
* You have 10+ years in financial project controlling, preferably in research projects funded by European institutions
* You excel at analysis, reporting, and project management tools
* You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
* You are fluent in English (written and spoken), with a working knowledge of French or Dutch.
* You are familiar with Belgian GAAP
* Experience with Odoo, Sage BOB, or research projects is a plus
