Job description:
As a System Administrator MQ/MQTT, you are part of a team that connects dozens of applications via messaging middleware such as IBM MQ and/or MQTT. IBM MQ has been the standard within Infrabel for communication between applications for years, including with external partners. VerneMQ (MQTT) is the recent standard technology for IoT communication within Infrabel. MQTT is growing within our company, with both internal and external customers, and there is a lot of attention for security.
Your main activities
* Management, maintenance and further development of the middleware infrastructure IBM MQ and MQTT, and then evolve the configuration of VerneMQ MQTT into a critical platform that complies with NIS legislation.
* Setting up new monitoring methods and collecting statistical information.
* Participate in the planned infrastructure migrations (network, OS, ...)
* Documenting all flows and techniques.
* Helping to train the junior members of the team
* Maintaining contact with the users to maintain an overview of dependencies and critical flows.
Desired competencies:
* knowledge and experience of MQTT
* knowledge of cybersecurity, NIS law, ISO27001 standard,
* knowledge of VerneMQ; - experience with incident management.
* Experience with the support of external users.
Technical skills:
* Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1: complex fluency)
* Very good knowledge of English: comprehension, writing and reading (B2: upper intermediate level)
* Good knowledge and experience in bash, ansible and AWX languages (L3: 5 years of experience at least); Good knowledge and experience with IBM MQ (L3: 5 years of experience at least)
* Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools (L2: 2 years of experience at least)
* knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus and Kibana (L2: 2 years of experience at least)
* Writing skills for documentation and analysis (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
