Technical Consultant for Microsoft Business Central
You like to design and build technical solutions within Microsoft Business Central and are not afraid to go beyond ERP software customizations. You are comfortable in the cloud and enjoy working on a wide range of innovative Microsoft projects.
Responsibilities
* After gaining the necessary understanding of the customer’s reality, translate the functional blueprint (written by functional colleagues) into a robust technical architecture and solution.
* Develop and implement customizations and extensions in AL language for Microsoft Business Central, staying involved throughout the entire project implementation cycle, including post‑go‑live support.
* Design integrations with other solutions or external systems, applying architectural skills and knowledge of APIs and web services.
* Contribute to performance optimisation and troubleshooting, ensuring the solution meets both technical and business requirements.
* Keep up to date on the latest technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and DevOps practices to deliver modern, scalable solutions.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV (AL or C/AL).
* Understanding of general Microsoft solutions (Azure AI, Azure AD, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, …) and how they can work together.
* Knowledge of business processes such as Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Finance is a strong plus.
* Experience with DevOps and/or GitHub is a nice to have.
* Strong communicator in Dutch and/or French, with proficient English.
