g2 are working with a leading renewable energy company focused on sustainable hydrogen technologies. We are seeking a freelance Electrolyser Dependability & Safety Engineer to enhance the reliability and safety of our clients hydrogen products.
Role Overview:
You will lead and coordinate the safety and reliability analyses of hydrogen electrolysers throughout their lifecycle. This includes conducting risk assessments, creating reports, and driving continuous improvements in safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analyses for hydrogen products.
* Compile customer safety and dependability reports.
* Develop a network of expertise within and outside the company.
* Continuously improve the safety and availability of hydrogen products.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in engineering (industrial installations).
* 5+ years’ experience in process safety (HAZOP, LOPA) and dependability risk analysis (FMECA, FTA).
* Knowledge of ATEX, cybersecurity, and high/low voltage electricity is a plus.
* Proficient in continuous improvement tools.
* Autonomous, team-oriented, and flexible.
* Fluent in English (French is a plus).
