Location: At the client's site (remote work can be discussed with the client)Employment type: Full-timeExperience level: Mid / Senior (3–7 years) About the Role As a System Engineer, you are responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the IT infrastructure of our clients. You ensure that servers, networks, and cloud environments remain stable, secure, and future-proof. In your consultancy role, you'll work on-site at one of our clients, often for a longer period. This allows you to help build their IT environment and get to know their organization well, while still enjoying the variety and growth opportunities that consultancy offers — new clients, new environments, new challenges. Your Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows servers, networks, and cloud environments Configure and manage Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, Intune, and Microsoft 365 Contribute to migrations, implementations, and lifecycle projects Monitor systems and proactively resolve incidents Collaborate with support and network teams on complex technical issues Document procedures and advise on improvements in infrastructure and security Who You Are You are an experienced IT professional who takes responsibility and enjoys thinking along on the best technical solutions. You work in a structured way, love automation, and have a passion for infrastructure management. You have: At least 3 years of experience in system administration or as a system engineer A degree in an IT-related field Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation tools Basic knowledge of network management (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or ITIL Foundation are a plus Good command of Dutch and English (French is an advantage) A category B driver's license Location As a consultant, you'll be assigned to projects at clients throughout Flanders.
