We're looking for an experienced MSAT Process Scientist to join our team in Belgium. You'll play a key role in supporting technology transfer activities, optimizing biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, and driving scientific innovation in a highly collaborative environment. 🔥 Your Responsibilities:
* Support the transfer of new drug substance manufacturing processes from development to large-scale GMP production environments.
* Prepare and review technical documentation, including process gap analyses, control strategies, batch records, and sampling plans.
* Provide scientific support during process qualification and manufacturing implementation activities.
* Lead process optimization initiatives aimed at improving robustness, efficiency, and production yield.
* Analyze manufacturing data and perform process monitoring and trending to ensure consistent product quality.
* Design and execute technical studies, generating reports to support process changes and lifecycle management activities.
* Contribute to investigations, deviation assessments, and product impact evaluations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Work closely with laboratory and manufacturing teams to bridge small-scale studies with commercial-scale operations.
🎯 Your Profile:
* Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
* Around 4 to 6 years of experience in process development, MSAT, technology transfer, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture processes at laboratory and/or manufacturing scale.
* Good understanding of GMP environments and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.
* Experience with data analysis and statistical tools such as JMP, Statistica, Matlab, Simca, or equivalent is considered an advantage.
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams.
* Good communication skills in English are required; Dutch is a strong asset.
* Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to support dynamic manufacturing and laboratory activities when needed.
