Your Responsibilities
Experimental Work and Technical Support
* Perform standard molecular biology techniques: DNA/RNA/protein extraction, PCR,etc.
* Conduct cell culture experiments: maintenance, transfection, and functional assays (e.g. viability, proliferation, apoptosis).
* Assist in setting up and optimizing new epigenetic and epitranscriptomic technologies.
* Prepare samples for next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other high-throughput analyses.
* Support data collection and sample tracking in collaboration with bioinformaticians and researchers.
Laboratory Organization and Management
* Manage inventory, stock reagents, and ensure proper equipment maintenance and calibration.
* Handle purchases and orders (via SAP or Fidelo) and maintain up-to-date records of consumables.
* Ensure compliance with biosafety and ethical regulations (risk assessments, safety documentation).
* Participate in the training and onboarding of new team members (students, interns).
* Maintain accurate and well-organized experimental documentation (lab notebooks, digital records).
Collaboration and Communication
* Work closely with postdocs, PhD students, and technicians from other research teams.
* Contribute to lab meetings and discussions aimed at improving experimental workflows.
* Communicate effectively in English and French within an international and multidisciplinary environment.
Profil
* You hold a Bachelor's degree in laboratory technology, medical biology, or an equivalent field.
* You are enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated.
* You demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
* You work with rigor and precision, ensuring high-quality and reliable results.
* You show a strong sense of responsibility and uphold professional integrity in all aspects of your work.
* You are able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with your colleagues.
* You have basic knowledge and experience in:
* Molecular biology: DNA/RNA/protein extraction, PCR, Western blot, etc.
* Cellular biology: cell culture, transfection, etc.
* You have a good command of spoken and written English (B1–B2 level).
* You have French language skills (B1–B2 level).
* You have previous experience in:
* Laboratory management and organization
* Procurement using SAP or Fidelo
* Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Staff coordination and training
* You have advanced experience with:
* Molecular biology: RT-qPCR, Western blot, IHC, etc.
* Cellular biology: cell viability and proliferation assays, etc.
Langue
You have a good command of the second national language or are willing to acquire it (language courses are organized internally during working hours, and you may be eligible for a SELOR bilingualism bonus of €150 gross, subject to obtaining the Selor Art. 10 certificate).
