Role Overview: We ARE looking for a Junior Jointer to join our HV/MV services team. This is a trainee technician role focused on learning medium and high voltage underground cable jointing through structured on-the-job training and certified technical courses. The position offers a clear development path, with increasing autonomy as skills and safety competencies are validated. Key Responsibilities: Learn MV and HV cable jointing and termination techniques under the supervision of Senior Jointers. Assist with preparation and execution of cable joints and terminations on site. Prepare tools, materials, and work areas according to procedures and manufacturer instructions. Apply internal training and theoretical knowledge during site activities. Support inspections and electrical testing under supervision. Follow all HSE, electrical safety, and quality procedures strictly. Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper traceability of completed work. Participate in scaffolding activities and work at height in line with certifications and authorizations. Training & Development: Internal training in MV/HV jointing procedures, quality standards, HSE, and work methods. External training with cable and accessory manufacturers and certified training centers. Specific certifications for scaffolding erection and work at height. Regular technical and HSE assessments to validate competence progression. Qualifications & Experience: Technical education in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or a related field. Strong interest in MV/HV underground cable systems. High motivation for hands-on learning and structured technical training. Strong safety mindset, particularly regarding electrical work and work at height. Good manual skills and suitability for site-based work environments. Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions. Career Development & Autonomy: Structured role with an individual development plan. Autonomy increases progressively based on completed training, on-site performance, and HSE evaluations. Career progression possible toward Senior Jointer. Additional Info: Willingness to travel frequently for national and international (mainly European) projects. Weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
