Your impact
As a Manager Finance & Performance, you'll make an impact by:
1. Advising and assisting our clients in optimising their:
Finance function as a whole (upskilling, “fit to growth”)
Accounting processes, both in the transactional (order to cash, procure to pay, record to report) and last-mile monthly closing process (consolidation, fast/smart close)
Enterprise Performance Management (strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting) design and implementation (processes and models)
Activity-Based Costing, Profitability Improvement, Investment analysis, etc.
2. Participating in performance improvement projects to provide tailor-made, creative and pragmatic solutions to address complex problems
3. Identifying and creatively solving complex issues for the CFO’s Office, including the design and optimisation of Target Operating Models
4. Managing a multidisciplinary project team and actively participating by taking ownership for key project deliverables
5. Developing client proposals showing that you understand their requirements and are able to design a solution that meets their needs
6. Managing client relationships and detecting commercial opportunities
About you
7. University degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Economics or Computer Science
8. 6 to 8 years of experience in large, international corporations
9. Consulting and/or audit exposure is a plus, but not a requirement
10. Working knowledge or relevant project experience in one of the following areas:
Accounting
Fast close
Enterprise Performance Management
Strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting
Management reporting
Margin controlling
Financial modelling
Audit
11. Tool certification or exposure is an asset (e.g. Tagetik, Anaplan, Board or OneStream)
12. True team spirit and eager to work in a client-focused, quality-driven environment
13. Ready to manage projects on a daily basis, including the team management and coaching aspects. Previous experience doing so is mandatory
14. Willingness to take ownership (i.e. key project deliverables or day-to-day tasks in your current role)
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to details
16. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, as well as French and/or Dutch
17. Exposure to improvement initiatives related to finance processes, systems, organisation, working capital, cash flow, cost reduction, etc. is an asset
