Job Description
We're currently working with a global pharmaceutical company that focuses on the development, production, and distribution of generic medicines and biosimilars. By offering high-quality alternatives to branded medications, the company plays a significant role in making healthcare more accessible and affordable. Its portfolio spans a wide range of therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, oncology, and respiratory treatments.
The Sales Specialist plays a key role in achieving both sales and market share objectives by developing strategic plans and promoting a portfolio of products to physicians, specialists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within a defined territory. In collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, this role also focuses on building and enhancing a high-performing sales team through ongoing training and coaching, as well as supporting broader project management and implementation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving sales performance, productivity, and target achievement within defined budgets and timelines
* Executing regional or sector-specific management plans designed to meet commercial goals
* Conducting impactful engagements with healthcare professionals and KOLs as per activity targets
* Cultivating strong relationships with customers to support sustained business growth
* Leading or contributing to customer-focused initiatives that align with sales and marketing strategies
* Continuously enhancing personal expertise in competitive and value-based selling techniques
* Applying comprehensive knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical marketplace and customer dynamics to deliver tailored solutions
* Maintaining accurate and timely reporting in accordance with established guidelines
* Adhering to all compliance protocols, including adverse event reporting and ethical standards
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent
* Fluent in Dutch or French, and English
* Biosimilar sales experience in the life science industry or relatable sales to Biosimilars.
