As a Scrum Master...
You are the guardian of Agile methodologies and the dedicated facilitator of our development teams! Based in our vibrant Brussels agency, your mission is to maximize team efficiency and ensure the smooth delivery of innovative open-source projects. On a daily basis, you will:
* Coach and support the development team and the Product Owner in fully understanding and applying Scrum and Agile principles.
* Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) with dynamism and efficiency.
* Identify and actively remove impediments (blockers) that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging best practices, team autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Track team performance using relevant Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts) and ensure total transparency with all stakeholders.
* Foster a positive, caring, and communicative environment to maximize team cohesion, motivation, and well-being.
Your profile
With a higher education degree in IT or a related field, you have at least 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master empowering technical teams, ideally within web or software development environments.
* You hold a recognized Scrum Master Certification (such as PSM I/II or CSM) and possess a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (knowledge of Kanban or SAFe is a plus).
* You are perfectly at ease with agile project management and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
* Endowed with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, you know how to unite a team and adapt your discourse to various technical and business stakeholders.
* Your natural leadership, empathy, and problem-solving mindset make you a true servant-leader for your team.
* Fluency in English and French (or Dutch) is a major asset to collaborate effectively within our international and Brussels context.
