Job Offer Chief Operating Officer BeCentral is the digital campus located in Brussels Central Station. Cofounded and backed by more than 60 entrepreneurs, BeCentral is the place to learn technologies, grow a startup and impact society. We host ~500 entrepreneurs in our 10.000-sqm campus, working for ~65 resident initiatives (digital schools, start-ups and NGO's).
As BeCentral's Chief Operating Officer you are responsible for the smooth, energetic, and people‐centered operation of BeCentral's campus. From logistics and hospitality to onboarding new residents and fostering community, you keep the heart of BeCentral beating. You make sure our space always feels dynamic, functional, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.
We're looking for a hands‐on, on‐site leader who brings solutions, energy, and adaptability to everything they do. This role is key to ensuring our daily operations run seamlessly while building meaningful connections with residents, partners, and visitors.
Campus Operations & Facility Management Supervise service providers (cleaning, technical, IT, etc.) to ensure seamless execution
Anticipate and resolve operational issues before they snowball
Keep the space functional, presentable, and vibrant at all times
Resident Experience & Community Life Welcome and onboard new residents and organizations with clarity and care
Act as the second point of escalation for operational or technical issues beyond the scope of the Campus Ninja or front desk Angel
Help foster a friendly, responsive, and supportive atmosphere across the campus
Collaborate with other teams to enhance campus life and internal communication
Own the full rental process for offices and memberships: respond to inquiries, lead visits, create offers, and close bookings
Proactively identify and approach potential users (startups, training programs, partners)
Work with the CEO and Communications team to boost visibility and attract inbound leads
Maintain accurate tracking of leads, offers, contracts, and occupancy
Monitor space usage and suggest improvements for revenue and community value
Partner Visits & Delegations Host delegations, ecosystem players, and public institutions visiting BeCentral
Ensure visits are meaningful, aligned with our mission, and well‐coordinated
Connect visitors with the right internal teams and follow up on opportunities
Document outcomes and support next steps
Manage and support the campus support team (Ninja, front desk, maintenance, student pool)
Set clear priorities, reallocate resources when needed, and lead by example on‐site
Help nurture a culture that is welcoming, efficient, and constantly improving

You Are A seasoned operator with experience in campus, coworking, hospitality, or facility management, capable of steering complex ecosystems with multiple stakeholders
Strategically minded yet deeply operational, aligning day‐to‐day execution with long‐term vision
A proactive problem‐solver who anticipates challenges, builds smart systems, and continuously improves efficiency and impact
Service‐driven and people‐focused—you lead with empathy, build trust, and foster a culture of accountability and care
Agile and resilient—comfortable navigating fast‐paced, evolving environments with calm and clarity
Proficient in English and French and/or Dutch, and confident engaging with partners, residents, suppliers, and public institutions
Fully present on‐site, actively attuned to the campus rhythm, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
