In this critical role, you will support our global Life Sciences Professional Services team to implement Emerson’s Real-Time Scheduling (RTS) / Discrete Event Simulation (DES) solutions to develop finite scheduling, debottlenecking, and capacity analysis of complex manufacturing processes. You will guide our Life Sciences industry customers through best practices, support software deployment, and, ultimately, help optimize their critical manufacturing operations. If this sounds like an interesting job for you, then join our team at Emerson!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Use discrete event simulation to model complex manufacturing processes, including debottlenecking and capacity engineering.Apply consultative skills in customer-facing meetings to understand processes and integrate diverse data sources into RTS software.Develop algorithms for design of experiments, data visualization, optimization, and efficiency improvements.Implement and support RTS software, collaborating with clients to incorporate upgrades and enhancements.Partner with Technology teams on product testing and feature development.Deliver projects within budget and timelines while ensuring customer satisfaction.Who You Are:You analyze diverse sources of information to accurately define problems before moving to solutions. You adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain focus on delivering results that create value for customers and the organization.For this Role, You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree, with min of 5 years of relevant experience.Proficiency with discrete event simulation tools (., FlexSim, Simio, Technomatix).Strong understanding of probability and statistics.Ability to independently develop programmatic software solutions for novel problems (., C#, C++).Experience with mathematical modeling and scripting languages (., VBA, Python, Matlab).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.Availability to travel across Europe for short or extended assignments ( up to 15%).Proficient in English (written and spoken).Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Experience in the Life Sciences manufacturing industry.
