Voor onze klant te Mechelen zoek ik een Senior Solution Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect you will help build the application landscape, working closely with the Product & Technology and Customer Operations circles during a critical initiative involving shared services and network integration. The consultant will bridge the gap until a permanent hire is onboarded and coach the new internal architect during transition.
Responsibilities
* Define end-to-end solution architecture for initiatives aligned with Telenet’s vision, guardrails and business objectives.
* Translate business needs into solution designs, alternatives, and transformation roadmaps.
* Document decisions, assumptions, and pro/con analyses for forums and stakeholders.
* Engage in stakeholder management across multiple teams and tribes.
* Provide guidance and coaching to the future internal architect.
* Ensure compliance with architectural principles and long-term modernization goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture.
* Strong knowledge of:
o Agile methodologies, Lean Architecture
o Design principles (SOLID, Domain Driven Design, Microservices)
o Modelling techniques (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, C4)
* Familiarity with telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration concepts.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Must have skills
* Proven seniority in solution architecture roles.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and initiative-taking attitude.
* Experience in high-level solution design (not detailed technical design).
* English fluency.
* Ability to coach and transfer knowledge.
Nice to have skills
* Dutch language skills.
* Experience in telecom industry.
* Knowledge of generative AI concepts.
* Agile certifications (experience is more important than certificates).
