Job description
Role
Responsible for managing and coordinating all building technical systems and maintenance activities. Focus on operational continuity, compliance, and team oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage maintenance and modifications of electrical, HVAC, water, gas, sewage, kitchen, and security systems
* Oversee daily activities of technical teams and contractors
* Monitor and manage the Building Management System (BMS)
* Set up and maintain preventive maintenance programs (including H&S and legal compliance)
* Plan and support upgrades, replacements, and lifecycle management of installations
* Manage outages, risk logs, and continuous improvement actions
* Maintain technical documentation and “as-built” records
* Supervise repairs, maintenance, and building works
* Support installation of technical equipment, labs, and office relocations
* Assist with budgeting, reporting, and drafting SOWs/contracts
* Participate in on-call duty when required
1. Requirements
* Minimum 8 years relevant experience in facilities/building maintenance
* Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (TIA standards)
* Good understanding of HVAC, BMS, and building systems
* Knowledge of fire safety and technical regulations
* Experience managing technical staff and contractors
* Experience with administration, reporting, and documentation tools
* Ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment
* Strong English; working knowledge of French
2. Desirable
* Experience with AV/presentation systems
* Knowledge of generators, plumbing, and heating systems
* Experience in international or NATO environments
* Awareness of hazardous materials handling
