Your function
As a (Senior) IT, Tech & Data Protection Lawyer, you will provide legal advice on IT, tech, commercial and data protection matters, assisting clients in implementing IP & data strategies and representing clients before different courts and jurisdictions.
You stand at the intersection of law and technology, providing legal expertise in the areas of tech, IP, health, data protection, and data security law.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing legal counsel on IT contracts, data protection matters, and commercial contracts.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts related to technology, intellectual property, data privacy, and security.
* Supporting clients in the development and implementation of data protection and IP strategies.
* Advising clients on compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR.
* Representing clients in litigation, including before regulatory authorities and courts.
* Engaging in thought leadership and staying updated with evolving legal trends in IP, IT, and data protection.
Your profile
* Belgian Masters of Law, additional relevant certifications or advanced degrees in related fields are considered a plus
* Passionate about IP, Tech (IT), health and/or data protection law
* Dutch speaking, with an excellent level of English. Professional proficiency in French is considered a plus
* An entrepreneurial mind-set, pragmatic and and solution-focused
