Reporting to the Group Head of IT Procurement, this role holds a key global mandate: defining and executing sourcing strategy across major IT domains supporting digital transformation in more than 100 countries worldwide.
You will act as a strategic partner to the CIO and Regional CIO (RCIO) organisations, owning vendor consolidation, enterprise negotiations, and sourcing governance for complex portfolios including:
* Enterprise software & SaaS platforms
* Cloud infrastructure & data services
* Cybersecurity platforms
* Digital workplace & hardware
* Technology professional services
This role is designed for an experienced IT procurement professional who is ready to operate fully at CIO interface level, driving negotiations and shaping technology vendor strategy across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership & Global Sourcing Strategy
* Own and execute sourcing strategy for allocated IT categories at a global level
* Build and maintain multi-year technology sourcing roadmaps aligned to business and IT transformation priorities
* Lead end-to-end global RFx programs:
* Requirement structuring
* Evaluation frameworks
* Negotiation strategy and bid consolidation
* Award recommendations to CIO steering committees
* Develop detailed TCO, benchmarking, volume ramp, and commercial models
Commercial Leadership & Negotiation
* Lead contract structure and negotiations for:
* Enterprise SaaS platforms
* Cloud services
* Cybersecurity tools
* Managed and professional services
* Global hardware agreements.
* Personally negotiate:
* Global pricing structures and discount tiers
* SLAs and commercial performance frameworks
* Usage scaling clauses and commercial protections
* Partner with legal leadership on:
* Data protection (GDPR)
* Cybersecurity obligations
* Regulatory and risk mitigation clauses
Executive Stakeholder Partnership
* Act as procurement business partner to:
* Group CIO and RCIO leadership teams
* Cybersecurity leadership
* Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation Offices
* Global finance investment committees
* Global legal & compliance leaders
* Provide sourcing strategy input to technology investment prioritization and vendor rationalization programs
* Prepare board-level sourcing recommendations and briefings.
Supplier Relationship & Governance Leadership
* Lead strategic relationships with Tier-1 global technology vendors
* Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with executive vendor sponsors
* Own supplier governance frameworks:
* KPI & SLA tracking
* Innovation roadmaps
* ESG and compliance objectives
* Drive continuous improvements, escalations, and remediation programs.
Performance Management & Analytics
* Own category dashboards covering:
* Spend consolidation
* Savings pipeline delivery
* Compliance metrics
* Support portfolio rationalization using detailed spend analytics
* Contribute to procurement maturity and operating model transformation at group level.
Key Requirements
* 12+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, consulting, or category leadership roles
* Demonstrated hands-on leadership in sourcing of:
* Software/SaaS platforms
* Cloud or cybersecurity solutions
* Global IT service contracts
* Practical experience driving global vendor negotiations and enterprise agreements
* Proven engagement with CIO, CISO, and executive stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in:
* Business Administration
* Supply Chain / Procurement
* Engineering or IT Management
* Finance / Economics
