For a company located in Grimbergen, we are looking for a Traffic coordinator / Transportation analyst. This company moves over 250 orders a day from +730 suppliers in EAME to over 72 facilities all over the world. As a transportation analyst you will help improve the supply chain collaboration and transportation visibility for the dealers in the EMEA region.
We are looking for a teamplayer who is familiar with good communication skills and customer focus, has a transportation background and is eager to take on a more challenging and analytical role within an internatial environment.
* Daily operational management of in- and outbound transportation operations (ocean, road, rail, air).
* Operational support for shipments of Machines, Engines and Work Tools sourced worldwide and shipped to African and Eurasian destinations.
* Monitor timely collections and deliveries, update and review Milestones and EDI messages to enhance our transportation visibility.
* Provide Root Cause Corrective Actions on disrupted shipments, damages, returns and discrepancies.
* Validate and update shipping information and documentation, supporting master data.
* Have regular touch points with the team to align with their business/priorities and respond accordingly to their requests for transportation.
Functie-eisen
The transportation analyst we are looking for has the following skills:
* Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, ... or equal by experience
* 3-5 years experience in international transportation operations
* Fluent in English (written and oral), other languages are an asset
* Team player with good interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Solid written & oral communication skills
* Eager to learn
* Computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, Cloud applications)
