Do you already have experience in international transportation operations? Are you fluent in English? Do you have strong analytical and communication skills? Then you might be the person we are looking for!
For a distribution center, located in Grimbergen, we are looking for a Transportation analyst. In this position, you will assist to improve the company's operational efficiencies and processes for their "Prime products", moving from EAME facilities to international end users.
We are looking for a teamplayer who has prime communication skills and strong analytical abilities.
Your responsibilities as a Transportation performance analyst:
* Assisting in planning and executing international transportation ops of finished products to regional and overseas dealers
* Monitoring transportation lane performance to identify improvements
* Supporting enhancement of carrier performance through structured procedures
* Tracking key operational metrics (cost, data quality, ...) to achieve targets
* Utilizing systems, dashboards and stakeholder relationships to detect possible improvements
* Develop deep business knowledge of products and customers
Functie-eisen
The transportation analyst we are looking for has the following skills:
* Bachelor degree or equal by experience (within supply chain or business administration)
* 1-3 years experience in international transportation operations
* Fluent in English (written and oral), other languages are an asset
* Team player with good interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Solid written & oral communication skills
* Eager to learn
* Computer skills (Excel, Sharepoint, Access, Cloud applications)
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
* A challenging work environment within a large logistics player
* Salary of €3430 to €3600 gross per month, depending on your experience
* Meal vouchers of €8 per day
