WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for:Review all new hires into payroll system and/or to ensure accuracy and processes any necessary correctionsCalculation and processing of termination paymentsResponsible for supporting Payroll Officer role in your responsible countryMaintains master data and employee files (electronic or paper)Processes employee payroll changes, additional earnings such as overtime, shift allowances, salary changes (increases/decreases) and calculation of back pay (when applicable)Responsible for calculating deductions, such as withheld tax, fees, insuranceVerifies payroll hours from Time & Attendance system to ensure colleagues are being paid correctlyPayroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligationsEnsures employees’ sick and vacation time is accurate and reliableWorks directly with Accounting Department regarding salary payments, bank reconciliation and journal entriesEnsure all month end tasks such as statutory payments and reporting is performed timeouslyEnsure all month end reporting is completed and reported to all necessary partiesStaff Card AdministrationDealing with our Incentive ProgramCoordination and follow up all the activities with the Outsourcing company (if applies)Contact for all external customers (authorities, auditors) for all issues concerning payroll, fiscal and social insurance mattersMay perform other activities related to the position.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You will work in close collaboration Accounting Department, HR, Outsourcing company,and all the Brazil team.WHO YOU ARE We are looking for people with…Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or similar.3+ years’ experience in payroll administration and former experience leading payroll teams or outsourcing vendorsExperience in managing payroll processes in different countriesAbility to implement, execute and follow upMust be able to effectively partner with personnel of organizational units involved (Controlling, HR, BT, Payroll, Stores and Global Organization) in order to maintain and improve system processesDetailed Knowledge of payroll tax laws (in Latin America)Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills, time management, prioritizing, and able to work with deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to Company specific systemsFluent written and spoken EnglishWHO WE ARE H&M Group is a global company of strong fashion brands and ventures.
