The Senior Manager Global Application is responsible for defining, organizing, operating, and maintaining the global business application portfolio and business solutions across all locations to ensure a consistently positive experience and capability to meet current and future needs. In this position, you will report to the Global ICT Director.
Responsibilities
* Define and manage the Global Application Portfolio including governance and lifecycle management,
* Define, align, organize and plan with business partners application changes and enhancements in a way operations can smoothly transition to optimize the value creation,
* Lead the business application experience delivery focused on business process automation (ERP, CRM, LMS, HRS, MES, LOGISTICS, …),
* Be responsible for the global application software lifecycle management,
* Define the Service Catalog for application, measure performances and organize the review with business stakeholders,
* Agree with business partners delivery strategies to ensure adoption,
* Define the governance regarding support, change, and security,
* Negotiate and manage support agreement (KPI),
* Provide team with continual education,
* Measure and improve adoption and system knowledge with the Training department,
* Evaluate new products and services in line with industry trends and emerging technologies,
* Encourage a continuous improvement culture that focuses on innovation,
* Manage the delivery with own resources and partners,
* Define and follow the Global Application budget (SAP, …)
Profile
* You have a degree from a recognized educational institute in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field,
* You have previous IT Team Management experience (10 years’ experience in IT Global Application and ERP),
* You have an excellent knowledge of SAP or a global ERP (this is a prerequisite),
* You have experience in project management (medium and large scale),
* You know how to negotiate and manage contracts with consulting companies,
* You are able to motivate teams and create a culture of continuous improvement,
* You are able to drive change on a global level with a focus on digital transformation,
* You have good communication skills and have strong interpersonal skills,
* You are detail-oriented and have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* You are fluent in French and English, Dutch knowledge being an asset.
