Your main tasks:
* Analyze, draft and negotiate various types of contracts, such as subcontracting agreements, alliances, statements of work (SOWs), service agreements (MSAs), SaaS solutions, public tenders, etc;
* Collaborate closely with practitioners and interact on a daily basis on a multitude of engagement and risk management topics, such as commercial risks, proposals, contract templates, RGPD compliance, and more, providing practical and concrete advice;
* Maintain regular interactions with team members and mentor junior staff;
* Keep abreast of legal and technological developments, particularly in relation to RGPD, SaaS solutions, the Cloud, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) as well as DORA and NIS2 regulations;
* Participate in the development and delivery of QRM training courses, such as contract bootcamps and sessions dedicated to the public sector and RGPD.

Your profile
The ideal candidate:
* Has at least 5 years' significant experience in the legal field, with a specialization in public law and contract consulting;
* Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating technology contracts, ideally acquired in a consulting environment.
* Is able to manage complex legal and contractual issues, offering practical advice;
* Enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment, and is keen to deepen his or her legal knowledge through pragmatic advice;
* Holds a Master's degree in law and has solid experience in legal consultancy;
* Has a perfect command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in both languages; knowledge of French is an asset;
* Possesses critical thinking skills and a proactive sense of problem solving;
* Displays constant curiosity and a commitment to keeping abreast of evolving legal trends;
* Demonstrates the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team;
* Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* The position is based near Zaventem airport, with flexibility for part-time remote working.
