1. Design and maintain pricing models for reinsurance products using actuarial and statistical techniques.
2. Maintain awareness of the impact pricing decisions have on the insurance portfolio, enabling informed management decisions through a clear understanding of risk, profitability, and strategic outcomes.
3. Analyze historical claims data, exposure metrics, and market trends to inform pricing decisions.
4. Support underwriting teams with pricing guidance and scenario modeling.
5. Conduct profitability analysis and portfolio segmentation.
6. Price and present pricing recommendations (mostly) independently to senior stakeholders and contribute to pricing governance.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal pricing frameworks.
8. Design and maintain pricing models for reinsurance products using actuarial and statistical techniques.
9. Independently manage documentation and communication processes to meet audit and external department requirements;
10. Lead line-of-business projects such as market studies and tooling improvements—driving innovation through research, recommendations, and proactive development of pricing techniques beyond standard user-level;
Your profile
Education & Experience
11. Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field;
12. Technical (pricing) expertise in one or more Ageas Re business lines
13. Progress toward actuarial qualifications

15. Sharp analytical skills;
16. Proactive problem solving skills;
17. Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under pressure;
18. Strong proficiency in one or more programming language such as VBA, R, Python, SQL.

19. Full professional proficiency in English. Any other language is considered a plus
