Role: Construction Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
* Adherence to and promotion of company safety and quality policies.
* Onsite co-ordination between mechanical and other disciplines.
* Monitoring and delivering of project construction schedule
* Attending on-site co-ordination meetings with client.
* Co-ordinating and monitoring labour and plant requirements with site supervisors
* Supervision of project sub-contractors
* Reporting directly to the project manager on all aspects of the project
* Working closely with site engineers and safety officers to achieve project goals.
* Closely monitoring labour loading at all times to ensure that all costs are minimized.
* Ensuring that all project variations are recorded for the project QS
Requirements
* Have a minimum of 10 years' experience working on mechanical projects in the pharmaceutical or oil and gas industries.
* Ideally the candidate would be a time served fitter or would possess a mechanical engineering qualification.
* Have an excellent understanding of piping isometric and general arrangement drawings
* Possess exceptionally good organisational skills with good time management ability, working to deadlines / prioritising.
* Self-starter who is committed to achieve an excellent standard of work.
* An orderly systematic approach to problem solving will be a prerequisite for carrying out this role.
* Strong team player with ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
