Senior Project Manager – IT & Technology Roadmap, Brussels
This role is within our PMO & Portfolio Management department, which ensures the quality of our products and services. We seek an experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in IT & technology solutions to lead strategic projects in the life insurance sector, focusing on delivering technology and IT solutions to support business objectives.

Your responsibilities
* Lead and manage strategic projects in the life insurance sector, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project goals aligned with business and technology strategies.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; oversee execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Provide strategic insights, identify opportunities for leveraging technology to foster business growth and innovation, and facilitate tool adoption.
* Identify and mitigate project risks related to technology and IT solutions; proactively manage dependencies to minimize disruptions.
* Monitor project progress, ensure quality, and keep stakeholders informed with transparent updates.
* Promote a collaborative, innovative work environment that encourages creativity in delivering technology solutions.
* Manage stakeholder relationships to support project success and enhance technology-driven outcomes.
* Support post-implementation activities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5 to 10 years of senior-level project management experience, particularly in delivering technology solutions within the insurance or related sectors.
* PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
* Proficient in project management tools like Microsoft Project or Jira.
* Strong understanding of technology and IT solutions, with proven experience in leveraging technology for business growth.
* Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of the other, and comfortable working in English.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Client-oriented, autonomous, quick learner, and proactive.
* Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus.
