Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
client is the largest municipal sewer operator in Flanders. Because of climate change, which is becoming more and more tangible and tangible, there is a need for adjustments within the sewer domain.
Reusing water and separating the natural and human cycles are an important link here. New European and Flemish legislation, digitizing our networks and making the data available to all users are other goals. At the same time, various processes and systems are in need of an update.
Within the sewerage domain, you will work for the rio data project on the following objectives:
* Collecting, managing and unlocking qualitative data by setting up (data governance) processes and adjusting the current operations and processes.
* Enabling key reporting
* You work together with employees from different departments (investment works, operations, asset management, customer service, IT, ...) and thus develop a broad network.
* You are pragmatic and hands-on, eager to learn, enterprising and analytical with good communication skills.
* You combine individual in-depth business and data analysis work with the facilitation of small working groups in order to accelerate change among all actors in addition to working together on the right solution.
* You define necessary actions to achieve the desired to-be in the short and long term.
* You anticipate any problems in a timely manner and escalate them towards the project leader.
* You draw up processes, create customer-oriented training, documentation and communication and ensure support for the implementation and adoption of the to-be operation.
* You follow up data cleaning activities so that data quality structurally improves.
* You report on the progress and impact of implemented changes and actions on data quality.
* You help inspire the data culture within client by achieving data quality improvements and exemplary behaviour.
Must Have
* Proven experience as a business analyst 3 years – Medior
* Proven experience with business process development and optimization (BPM) Yes
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher) Certificate must be provided as proof
* Strong communication skills within the domain of the assignment To be demonstrated during interview
* Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2 Yes
Should Have
* Demonstrable experience within Change Management Yes
* Proven experience in the utility sector 3 years – Medior
* Demonstrable experience in the water/sewer sector Yes
* Demonstrable experience with Asset Management Yes
* Demonstrable experience with data cleaning and data governance processes Yes
