A job at the crossroads of finance and site reality.
As a
Project Cost Controller
, you work from your office on site and closely follow up the financial processes, right in the middle of the project. You are often on the road and present on site, which ensures a lot of variety and a job full of action.You are the financial point of contact on site: colleagues rely on you for financial questions and decisions. You dive deep into budgets, costs and forecasts, identify deviations and clearly map risks and opportunities. You work independently, but at the same time you are a fixed link within the site team and see the impact of your work every day.Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* You prepare the budget control and financial reporting for your sites and draw up sharp forecasts, including updates of the order portfolio.
* You are jointly responsible for the follow-up of all costs and revenues of the assigned project and prepare reports of the results.
* You take responsibility for the correctness of the figures on a monthly basis and adjust where necessary.
* You report at regular intervals and in a structured and objective manner to management/the executive board, so that timely adjustments can be made to achieve the financial and strategic objectives.
* You provide project managers and site managers with insight into the (current and future) financial results of the project/department and support them when financial issues arise.
* You stay up to date with developments within controlling, keep your knowledge up to date and think along with the team to take controlling to a higher level.

What you need
You have a master's degree in an economic field (Applied Economics, Commercial Engineer, Business Sciences) or a bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Experience in controlling, accounting, audit or civil projects is a nice plus, but motivated starters are also certainly welcome.You are analytically strong, work accurately and get enthusiastic about correct figures. You take responsibility independently, but at the same time work smoothly together with site and project management as a fixed link within the site team. You like a job full of action and variety and can express yourself professionally in French, Dutch and English.You start on sites in Wallonia, where you quickly build experience at the heart of our projects.
