Construction Project Management Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of construction projects in our region. Your role entails managing the work planner, following up on short- and long-term planning, monitoring execution, and making adjustments as needed.
This includes:
* Managing the work planner at the start and during works to ensure smooth project progress
* Following up on short- and long-term planning of shifts to optimize resource allocation
* Monitoring execution and making adjustments where necessary to meet project objectives
* Attending site meetings with clients and supervisors to discuss project progress and address any issues that may arise
* Being the client's point of contact regarding the work, ensuring open communication and addressing any concerns they may have
* Monitoring costs and benefits of construction sites in the region to ensure optimal financial outcomes
* Ensuring safety is a top priority and monitoring safety on sites together with the site manager to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
* Resolving complaints and challenges quickly as a project leader, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience
* 5+ years' work experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
* Solution-oriented and able to set priorities, with a focus on delivering results and achieving project objectives
