The transport sector is undergoing profound change driven by the shift towards sustainable mobility, the deployment of smart and connected technologies (data, AI, automation, intelligent transport systems), increasing pressure to optimise infrastructure and network performance, and rising expectations from passengers and users in terms of service quality, safety and experience. In this fast‑evolving context, you will contribute to shaping future‑ready strategies, operating models and transformation roadmaps for transport and mobility players. As a Senior Consultant specialising in the Transport sector, you will support and lead strategic and operational transformation initiatives for public and private transport stakeholders. You will help clients address key challenges related to evolving mobility models, operational efficiency, and the acceleration of digital transformation across their organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and lead consulting engagements with transport and mobility clients (public authorities, operators, infrastructure managers, logistics players) on strategic, organisational and digital transformation topics.
* Contribute to the definition of transformation strategies, target operating models and actionable roadmaps.
* Analyse current operating models, business processes and IT landscapes; identify improvement opportunities and design target states.
* Support the delivery of large‑scale transformation programmes (e.g. smart mobility, connected transport systems, data platforms, predictive maintenance, operational excellence initiatives).
* Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
* Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership and business development activities within the Transport sector.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
* 5+ years of experience in consulting with significant exposure to the Transport or Mobility sector.
* Solid understanding of transport sector dynamics (public transport, rail, road, logistics, smart mobility, infrastructure management, regulatory frameworks).
* Experience in digital transformation, operational excellence or large‑scale change programmes.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate strategy into concrete, actionable initiatives.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior management.
* Comfortable working in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
