The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure and local systems. The role includes installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers as well as managing user access, backups, and network resources.
Responsibilities
* Administer systems and applications with local impact.
* Install and configure system components and server software.
* Integrate servers into the local IT environment.
* Monitor server performance and availability.
* Analyze and resolve incidents or coordinate with other IT departments and third-party contractors when required.
* Maintain server operational manuals and disaster recovery plans.
* Manage user administration and access rights in a Windows environment.
* Administer local print and file servers.
* Perform and verify backup and restore procedures (for user and configuration data).
* Oversee network resources including shared printers, network drives, and SharePoint resources.
Required Expertise and Skills
* Advanced IT knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware and software management.
* High degree of autonomy and proficiency using IT management tools.
* Strong problem-solving ability.
* Proven expertise in MS Windows Server, MS Office Applications, SharePoint Services, and network storage technologies.
* ITIL V3 Foundation certification required.
* Experience in writing documentation and user guides.
* Competence in mobile device and OS support, including maintenance, updates, and configuration.
* Experience managing iTunes and Apple Configurator environments.
* Excellent command of English and French (both written and spoken).
