As a Trade Finance Officer, your role entails meticulously reviewing and processing a variety of Trade Finance documents as per the related ICC regulations, including Import LCs, export L/C notifications, and DC documents. Additionally, you’ll handle tasks related to Participations, Financing agreements, and other financial instruments. Ensuring compliance with AML procedures, you’ll also manage accounting entries and update electronic records, contributing to the smooth operation of trade finance activities.
Check/study all types of Trade Finance documents.
Process export L/C notifications, Drawings, Discounts, refinancing,
Analyses and process Participations, Financing agreements, Forfeiting contracts, Discount, Assignment of proceeds, Loans taken.
Execute other related accounting entries, prepare swifts, create diary, and prepare notices, follow up and execute payment of L/Cs, LGs and DCs.
Process settlement of acceptances for Import and Export L/C acceptances and DCs
Bachelor’s degree in international commerce, Business Administration, Banking, or related field.
Proficiency in both French and English.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
A fixed term contract of 6 months
An experience within a growing international bank with employees located in Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom
