# About youTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Construction-related degree or demonstrable experience of working within the construction industry, building projects, or project coordination.2. Understanding of project delivery processes and governance, including approvals, reporting, and compliance with organisational procedures.3. Understanding of health & safety in project / construction environments.4. Excellent oral/written communication skills, which can be adapted to reflect the audience.5. Experience working with consultants and contractors to support delivery, site meetings, and stakeholder coordination.6. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, prioritising workload whilst working to tight deadlines.7. Strong time‑management and able to meet deadlines.8. Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Unit4Business, e-Permits etc. **Desirable criteria** 1. Working toward or interest in professional accreditation (e.G., APM, RICS, CIOB, RIBA).2. Flexible and adaptable, able to respond positively to shifting priorities, changing requirements, and evolving project goals.3. Calm and solutions‑focused when managing busy periods or unexpected site issues.4. Awareness of sustainability principles in construction projects.5.
