1.Position Purpose : Propose, implement and monitor the local sales strategy in order to achieve profitable results, by developing and managing an effective, accountable and motivated sales force, in close relationship with the Area Commercial Director and his/her colleagues Sales Manager in the region. 2. Key responsibilities a. Strategic Responsibilities Prepare and propose the local sales budget to the Area Commercial Director. Define together with the Area Commercial Director the local sales strategy. Deploy and implement the local commercial strategy, setting portfoliotargetsachieve quarterly and annual sales objectives. Track and monitor local competitors to provide insights for reviewing product offerings, pricing, and programs to grow market share. b. Operational Responsibilities Manage a personal portfolio of approximately 35 customers across the country. Monitor sales results regularly and propose action plans in case of underperformance. Manage existing agreements to maximize their value and scout for new business opportunities. Visit customers, including high-level executives, to develop a network of key relationships. Understand and define strong KPIs to drive sales performance and enhance customer experience. Promote digital solutions (e-catalogues) to customers and foster a digital mindset within the sales team. c. Cross-functional Responsibilities Liaise with non-sales departments (Finance, Marketing, Quotations, Supply/Purchasing) to receive support and provide local insights. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, building personal networks, and participating in local professional communities. d. Managerial Responsibilities Lead and manage the local sales team : NAM, Field Sales representatives & Inside Sales Representatives. Deploy a performance appraisal system aligned with Group guidelines to validate individual bonus targets and results. Continuously motivate the sales team, nurture talents, and inspire focus on the company's growth.
