Junior Cloud Data Platform Engineer (Azure) – Part‑Time Contract

Duration: 4 months (11 May 2026 – 1 September 2026)
Workload: 1 day per week
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Data Platform Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operation of a secure and scalable cloud-based data platform in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure (Azure), including compute, storage, and networking
Assist in setting up and maintaining DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, environments, monitoring, alerting)
Implement security and access controls aligned with ICT policies
Automate platform operations to reduce manual work and operational risk
Ensure the platform is stable, secure, and production‑ready
Support compliance efforts (IAM, networking, secrets management, GDPR‑by‑design)
Monitor platform performance, reliability, and cost
Contribute to DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices across analytics and AI workloads
Required Experience
Initial experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
Understanding of enterprise ICT standards and security/compliance frameworks
Key Skills
Good knowledge of Azure (networking, storage, compute, security fundamentals)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and cost management
Basic knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and network security concepts
Profile
