Freelance Cybersecurity Expert Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our client's Cyber Defense team. This is a full-time freelance mission for an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extension.
About the Role:
* Handle cybersecurity incidents (malware, intrusions, data breaches) and develop response procedures.
* Proactively identify threats using SIEM and custom tools, conduct regular threat hunting exercises, and analyze logs (Windows, Linux, network).
This role requires strong experience in SOC engineering, incident response, and threat hunting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols and operating systems, as well as familiarity with Azure Cloud security and Zero Trust concepts.
The successful candidate will be fluent in French (C2) and English (B2), and hold a Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incident Response: Handle cybersecurity incidents, analyze phishing emails and security alerts (SIEM, EDR), and develop response procedures.
2. SOC Engineering & Threat Hunting: Proactively identify threats using SIEM and custom tools, conduct regular threat hunting exercises, and analyze logs (Windows, Linux, network).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong experience in SOC engineering, incident response, and threat hunting.
* Solid understanding of networking protocols and operating systems.
* Familiarity with Azure Cloud security and Zero Trust concepts.
Language Proficiency:
* Fluent in French (C2)
* Fluent in English (B2)
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or equivalent
