About the Role We're looking for a
Dutch-speaking Electrical Engineer
to join our client’s team working on cutting-edge
solar and wind energy projects
across Belgium. You’ll be responsible for the
design, coordination, and implementation
of electrical systems within renewable installations, contributing directly to Belgium’s
energy transition .
Key Responsibilities Design and develop
electrical systems
for solar parks, wind turbines, and hybrid renewable energy solutions. Prepare and review
single-line diagrams (SLDs) ,
cable calculations, and
protection studies. Ensure compliance with
local grid codes, IEC standards, and project-specific safety requirements. Support
installation, commissioning, and
testing
of renewable systems. Collaborate with
civil, automation, and project engineering teams
to ensure technical accuracy and on-time delivery. Communicate effectively with
local DSOs/TSOs
and contractors in Dutch.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering ,
Electromechanics, or equivalent. Minimum
3–5 years’ experience
in
renewable energy projects
(solar PV, wind, or hybrid systems). Proficiency with
AutoCAD ,
EPLAN, or similar electrical design tools. Knowledge of
MV/LV/HV systems ,
inverters ,
transformers, and
protection coordination. Excellent command of
Dutch
(spoken and written); English is a plus. Strong analytical mindset, independence, and problem-solving skills.
