For our client, a leading international distributor of electronic components, we are looking for a Technical Account Manager .
In this role, you will position the company as the preferred partner for your customers. Being the preferred partner means being involved in all activities to create, expand, and defend sales through active participation in quotes, engineering, and supply chain opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Sell products and services to assigned customers within your sales territory
Develop and secure new business to expand the customer base and increase potential sales
Consult with customers to identify the best solutions from our portfolio
Collaborate with purchasing and engineering departments on projects and designs
Build strong relationships with suppliers to support customers’ technical and commercial needs
Maintain market awareness of competitor activities, industry trends, and new concepts
Work closely with internal resources to ensure smooth processes and customer satisfaction
Your profile
Several years of sales experience, with solid knowledge of the electronic component industry and its products and services
Completed professional technical and/or commercial education
Strong analytical, sales, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with a team-oriented mindset
Deep knowledge of products, services, and value propositions, with a strong willingness to learn about future product areas
Fluent in Dutch and French, with good English skills
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Willingness to travel locally and a valid driver’s license
